The Royal Cabinet announced that King Mohammed VI held a series of phone calls on Saturday with several leaders of Gulf countries, a step reflecting the strong fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and these states and reaffirming Rabat’s steadfast support for their security and stability.
According to the statement, the calls included Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, and Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the Qatar.
During these conversations, the Moroccan monarch reiterated the Kingdom of Morocco’s strong condemnation of the blatant attacks targeting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of these brotherly nations. He also affirmed Morocco’s full support for all legitimate measures these countries may take to safeguard their security and stability and to ensure the safety and reassurance of their citizens.
The King further emphasized that the deep fraternal ties and enduring solidarity between Morocco and the Gulf states make the security and stability of these countries an integral part of Morocco’s own security and stability. He stressed that any infringement on the integrity of Gulf states constitutes a serious and unacceptable act that poses a direct threat to regional stability.
The statement added that this position reflects the depth of the political and strategic relations linking Morocco with the Gulf countries, relations built on solidarity, cooperation, and coordination in facing shared regional challenges.
