In a context marked by growing interest in agricultural issues and sustainable development, China’s Ambassador to Rabat, Yu Jinsong, visited the stands of the International Agriculture Fair in its 18th edition in Meknes, where she met with representatives of various Chinese companies participating in this major event.
China’s Ambassador to Rabat, Yu Jinsong, stated that this event ranks among the most important exhibitions in Africa and worldwide, adding that this year’s theme addresses current concerns and the common challenges facing humanity.
In a statement to the “ALDAR” website, she emphasized that the Chinese Embassy in Morocco warmly commends the excellent organization of this international event, noting that agriculture is a cornerstone of economic and social development for both China and Morocco.
In the same context, the ambassador stressed that the primary sector (agriculture) represents a key pillar of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
She also pointed out that China attaches special importance to the modernization of agriculture and its sustainable development, affirming that her country is always ready to work with Morocco and other nations to further contribute to the modernization and development of the agricultural sector, enhance food security, and reduce poverty.
Yu Jinsong concluded by noting that this year’s edition of the International Agriculture Fair saw the participation of several Chinese companies, reflecting China’s commitment to strengthening ongoing cooperation with Morocco across various fields.
