King Mohammed VI affirmed that the security and stability of the Arab Gulf states are an integral part of the security and stability of the Kingdom of Morocco, reiterating Morocco’s full solidarity with these countries in the face of any threat targeting their sovereignty or territorial integrity.
This position was expressed during a series of phone calls held on Saturday between the Moroccan monarch and several Gulf leaders, including Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain; Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia; as well as Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
During these conversations, King Mohammed VI expressed Morocco’s strong condemnation of the blatant attacks that targeted the sovereignty and territorial integrity of these brotherly nations. He also reaffirmed Morocco’s full support for all legitimate measures they may take to safeguard their security and stability and ensure the safety and reassurance of their citizens.
The Moroccan monarch further stressed that the deep fraternal ties and ongoing solidarity linking Morocco with the Gulf states reflect the strength of the strategic relations between the two sides. He emphasized that any infringement on the security of these countries constitutes a serious and unacceptable aggression, as well as a direct threat to regional stability.
