King Mohammed VI Holds Phone Call with Mohammed bin Zayed on Regional Developments, Reaffirms Morocco’s Solidarity with the UAE

King Mohammed VI held a phone call with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, during which the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region and the serious repercussions they could have on regional and international security and stability.

During the conversation, the two leaders exchanged views on the current situation in the region amid rising tensions and the challenges they pose to security and stability in several countries.

The discussion also addressed the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates and a number of brotherly countries in the region. In this context, King Mohammed VI reiterated the condemnation by the Morocco of these attacks, describing them as a clear violation of state sovereignty and of the principles and charters of international law.

The Moroccan monarch further affirmed Morocco’s full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates in all measures it takes to safeguard its security and ensure the safety of its citizens, a position that reflects the deep fraternal relations between the two countries.

For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his thanks and appreciation to King Mohammed VI for Morocco’s supportive stance toward the UAE, praising the spirit of solidarity shown by Rabat in confronting the security challenges facing the region.

At the conclusion of the call, both sides stressed the importance of prioritizing serious dialogue and relying on diplomatic means to address regional issues, in a way that preserves security and stability and protects the interests of their peoples.
